Simon Boutureira is Martley’s Director of Loan Servicing. He oversees the boarding, day-to-day servicing and recovery of all lending positions.

Simon has extensive experience in commercial real estate debt strategies, portfolio underwriting and NPL workouts. Based in London, he currently manages £300m of loans across multiple mandates. He operates at all stages of the lending cycle.

He joined from M7 Real Estate where he was Head of Loan Servicing for 6 years. Simon orchestrated the growth of Iken loan servicing from it’s inaugural facility in Q3 2018 until its transfer to Martley in Q1 2024. Iken has serviced loans across the UK and The Netherlands.

Prior to M7 Real Estate, Simon held the position of Senior Manager at Pepper Europe located in Cyprus where he played a pivotal role in establishing their servicing platform in a new jurisdiction. Before that he managed the run-down of a Cerberus £350m NPL portfolio for Pepper UK.

Prior to Pepper, Simon held the position of Manager at National Australia Bank. He was in charge of a £200m NPL portfolio which required restructuring of expired and default loans as well as recoveries of debt through enforcement action.  He has more than 20 years’ of real estate experience.
