Rory Finnan Reunites With Former Io Group Colleagues at Martley CapitalGroup

Rory Finnan has been appointed managing director of real estate at newly founded Martley Capital Group.

Finnan joins from Chancerygate, where he was head of asset management, responsible for overseeing all asset management activities associated with the firm’s multilet industrial investment portfolios and third-party multisector investor mandates, as well as the acquisition and disposal of assets.

At Martley, Finnan will source investment opportunities as well as overseeing the management of existing assets and report to Jack Thoms, executive managing director and head of real estate at Martley Capital.

Martley Capital Group was founded in July 2023 by Richard Croft, with whom Finnan worked at Io Group. Thoms also worked there. Croft is the former co-founder of M7 Real Estate, the €6.9 billion pan-European investment and asset management platform sold to Oxford Properties in 2021. Other members of Martley’s management include M7 alumni Jack Thoms and Andrew Jenkins, and former head of JLL

Martley Capital Group was founded in July 2023 by Richard Croft, the award-winning real estate investor and former co-founder of M7 Real Estate, the €6.9 billion pan-European investment and asset management platform sold to Oxford Properties in 2021. Other members of the senior management team at Martley Capital include fellow M7 alumni Jack Thoms and Andrew Jenkins, and former Partner at Brockton Capital Tony Edgley.
