Former M7 and Coyote Exec to Lead CEE Investment Management Team

Former M7 Investment Manager Returns to Real Estate as Head of CEE

Johnnie Sims has been appointed Head of Real Estate for Central and Eastern Europe at Martley Capital, the new real estate company founded by Richard Croft, the award-winning co-founder and former Chief Executive of M7.

In his new role Sims will be responsible for investment management and deployment of capital into the CEE region as well as oversee all of the firm’s European business lines.

Based in London and reporting to Executive Managing Director Jack Thoms, he joins from Coyote Software, the real estate data company he co-founded in 2017. Prior to Coyote, Sims was an investment manager at M7 Real Estate managing funds on behalf of Oaktree Capital, Starwood Capital, H.I.G. Capital and The Baupost Group.

Martley Capital Group is a real estate investment management platform with more than 40 staff in five offices across the UK and Europe and £720m of AUM across nine existing mandates.

Johnnie holds a BSc (1st Class Hons) in Business in Property Real Estate from the University of the West of England and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
