Managing Director

Balázs Magyar is Managing Director Hungary. He oversees the CEREF II and CELF portfolios and is responsible for all areas of asset management.

Balázs joins from M7 Real Estate where he held the position of Managing Director, responsible for asset management and the successful sale of all the CEREF I assets. Previously he worked at Ballymore Eurovea in Slovakia as a Director in asset and property management. He was responsible for managing the Eurovea assets and overseeing all commercial aspects of a prime portfolio.

Before this, Balázs was Head of Asset Management Hungary at CBRE GI. In 2006, he managed the opening of Arena Plaza in Budapest (GLA 67 000 sq m) as a Regional Retail Director (CEE) at DTZ Czech Republic. Balázs has also worked at GfK in Hungary, where he started as a Head of Retail Department and was promoted to Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, responsible for setting up retail and real estate consultancy in the CEE region.

Balázs commenced his property experience 25 years ago at ECE Projektmanagement GmbH in Germany as a Property Manager. As well as his native Hungarian, Balázs is also fluent English and German.
