Sharon Smyth is Director of Communications at Martley Capital Group. She oversees media relations, marketing and corporate communications and has 19 years of experience in financial and real estate journalism.

Sharon joins Martley Capital from Costar News in London where she held the role of senior reporter covering commercial real estate, property finance and residential markets in the UK and Europe.

Prior to Costar, she was as a reporter for Bloomberg News for 15 years based in Madrid and London  covering the real estate boom and bust in Southern Europe, subsequent bank bailouts and sovereign debt crises and the UK commercial and residential real estate markets. Prior to Bloomberg she worked on the High Yield Desk at Deutsche Bank in London.

Sharon studied that the Universities of Wolverhampton and La Universidad de Salamanca and holds a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages for Business. She speaks French and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
