Simon Boutureira is Director of Loan Servicing at Martley Capital Group. He oversees the boarding, day-to-day servicing and recovery of all loans within the UK Debt Fund and will continue to replicate same in Martley’s new Gap Financing Venture.

Simon has extensive experience in commercial real estate debt strategies, portfolio underwriting and NPL workouts. He currently manages £260m of loans and 25 borrowers across both mandates and is based in London and reporting to Dan Boakes.

He joins from M7 Real Estate where he was Head of Loan Servicing for 6 years. Simon orchestrated the growth of Iken loan servicing from it’s inaugural facility in Q3 2018 until its transfer to Martley in Q1 2024. Iken has serviced loans across the UK and The Netherlands.

Prior to M7 Real Estate, Simon held the position of Senior Manager at Pepper Europe located in Cyprus where he played a pivotal role in establishing their servicing platform in a new jurisdiction. Before that he managed the run-down of a Cerberus £350m NPL portfolio for Pepper UK.

Prior to Pepper, Simon held the position of Manager at National Australia Bank. He was in charge of a £200m NPL portfolio which required restructuring of expired and default loans as well as recoveries of debt through enforcement action. He has operated in all stages of the lending cycle.

Simon has more than 18 years’ of real estate experience.
